I am a Los Angeles based location sound recordist and mixer for film and broadcast media, with extensive experience in scripted, non-scripted, documentary, and commercial production across the U.S. and abroad, with all current digital and film cinema cameras in single and multi-camera environments.

Drawing on my background in audio editing, design, and engineering, I tend to favor techniques that are minimally invasive, achieve maximum sound quality, and provide the simplest possible editing solution. I also truly enjoy what I do and always maintain a positive and creative attitude on set.

Going beyond ordinary production experience in order to continually improve my craft, I maintain a deep knowledge and up-to-date understanding of digital recording and sampling theory, radio equipment operation and technologies, acoustics, psychoacoustics, audio restoration, and audio circuit design.

I also hold a Master of Fine Arts degree in jazz piano performance from California Institute of the Arts, and a Bachelor of Arts in Music from California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo.
